Brief
To create a memorable and functional brochure for the innovative season of French Theatre in London and Stratford. The brochure had to incorporate all twelve major productions, company and director statements, synopses and associated events for the duration of the season.
Solution
Collaborating with Lolli Aboutboul, French language united all the themes so a typographic image from an original Duras transcript conveyed both metaphor and context. The development team were persuaded to avoid using the outside back-covers for advertising by using a translucent cigar-band for each of the eight opening gala performances, each one individually tailored to the sponsors requirements.
