Brief
Cork Street galleries has been central to the London commercial art gallery scene since 1928. They required an identity that would be original and visible in the competitive art market yet reflect their established position.
Solution
At the heart of this project are the names behind the galleries. We conceived an identity based on this collection of unusual and memorable names, using bold typography and printing in reverse of the back of the stationery creating a subtle watermarked effect.
The typography translate into eye-catching colour/texture treatments for the print based communications material.
